CEO Welcome
Hamish Gilbert the CEO of International Machinery Imports ltd
Creating and providing multi purpose machinery is something that comes naturally
for this company. Hamish Gilbert the CEO was born into a hill country
farming family of New Zealand. Hamish has over 28 years of experience in
both theoretical and practical agricultural engineering. Working in
roles both within New Zealand and overseas for multi national world
recognised companies in heavy earth moving and agricultural machinery.
This experience has seen Hamish in a wide variety of operating
environments and user applications.
The Taska UTV project was founded after Hamish had a close friend who had a major accident on
a ATV, this produced research which showed in New Zealand (current time) that 83 percent of farm
accidents came from ATV's.
UTV Affordability within New Zealand
and many countries is often forgone as too expensive compared with the
currently used ATV option. Current ATV manufacturers have been unable
to produce an alternate vehicle at a price to effectively compare with
the current ATV costs.
The Taska UTV first jointly developed in China
in 2005 has been built as an affordable, reliable and safe ATV
alternative, combining significant structural design, strength for safety
and reliability for people that require flexible offroad transport within a
realistic budget.
